In a panic - OWA problem
A coworker told me that last night she when to use OWA and when she clicked
on OWA in her favorites, as she always does, she got the boss' inbox. No
logon screen! She wasn't able to open or read any of the e-mail but it
showed the list of senders & subjects. I tested it this morning and I got
the OWA logon screen. What could cause this. I am very unsure about the
security of OWA now. Any insight would be great.

Our server setup is as follows:
    Windows 2000 domain
Exchange 2003 installed on Windows 2000 Domain Controller (IIS 5)
ISA 2004 installed on a Windows 2003 member server

Thanks,
Marty

Re: In a panic - OWA problem
from home if she isnt on a VPN connection it should ask her for account
info, if it didnt she must have done something else.

also you can access any mailbox by adding their email address.

http://server/exchange/person@place.com

that will load the users mailbox.

i have no idea what she was doing but i suspect it probably wasnt as simple
as she made it out to be.

see if you can get the full address her bookmark has.

Sure it does. I do it all the time - in E2k and E2003.
