Exch 2003 mail server - Emails from s/w
We have just changed our email setup, going from Exch 5.5 on NT to Exch 2003
on a W2003 server and it works fine. We also use Formscape layout design s/w
on a server in a different domain to print our Acknowledgements in a
customised fashion. At this point, a pdf of the print is also emailed to the
internal creator for filing using his/her own email address. Since upgrading,
this email has failed with a "cannot connect to mail server" message. I have
tried the Telnet test and it fails going to the Exchange server but so does
Telnet from our Rightfax server yet it can email received faxes to our users
without a problem. The email id of the sender in the s/w is setup as "SAP.
Acknowledgement@ourcompany.com" and this is not a "real" address as such.

Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem ?

Thanks
