OWA and RPC access with forms auth?
Ok we want to use forms based auth in OWA because we have ISA 2004 and like
the security features of it, but we also have users that want RPC enabled
HTTP outlook access... which wants basic auth... is there any way to
configure this to have both?

If you are using ISA 2004 then you don't need to publish FBA on the
Exchange Server. ISA will do that for you. There are articles on
www.isaserver.org.
Also you can run FBA and RPC over HTTPS on the same server anyway. Out
of the box and with the two features activated you get the
functionality.

Is there something hidden here? Have you been doing some testing and
had some kind of a problem that you don't want to talk about just yet?

Re: OWA and RPC access with forms auth?
we've had problems getting it to work, and we actually had to edit the IIS
metabase to force it to work.. the problem is we have SSL, and forms based
auth turned on on the ISA 2004 side, because when it was on, on the Exchange
side attachments wouldnt work at all! no mater what we did attachments would
not download, so we turned it off on exchange and on on the ISA side in the
Exchange web listener (set auth on the ISA listner to forms based auth) and
then attachments worked, but now RPC wouldnt work, turned it to basic auth
on the listener now RPC worked, but forms auth didnt work (gave a gray
security dialog for user / pass instead of the outlook website) and
attachments didnt work...
