Journaling Problem!
This problem has been plaguing me for sometime now. I have a mailbox that is
the archive mailbox for the message store (the archive mailbox is located on
another message store); the problem that I am having which happends
sometimes is that when an external user such a joe@yahoo.com sends an email
to bob@mydomain.com, the email successfully is delivered to the archive
mailbox but the journaling process does not copy that message to the users
mailbox, so the user never recieves it! So then we have to go into the
archived mailbox and copy it over for them. It happends intermitantly and
not all the time. Does anyone how to diagnose journaling problems etc? I
have turned on all the diagnostics to leval 7 in the registry but they do
not show any errors.. in the message tracking logs it should read:

messages delivered locally to archived@mydomainc.om
message categorized and queued for routing
message queued for local delivery
mesage delivered locally to store bob@mydomain.com

but it ends at the first line where it only delivers to the archive store.
running exchange 2003 ent., sp1 all updates as well as windows updates. any
help would be REALLY appreciated. Thanks.
