Hi, Our application uses WebDAV to read and move emails in Exchange to another folder. So the emails keep un-opened status. A few customers sending emails to our Exchange account complaint they got a receipt: "Your message was deleted without being read". The fact is the emails were "moved", not "deleted". I searched MSDN and found an article 222163. But look like it applies to old version. I tried sending emails from Outlook2003 and marked "Read" receipt (there is no "Tell me when all messages have been read" receipt anymore). But I didn't get that receipt. So I wonder if it was a bug in old version of Outlook/Exchange. But why current Exchange version still send out these kind of receipt? how can I workaround it to NOT send this receipt? Or at least change the receipt's message to say "Moved"? Is there any settings in Exchange? Thanks. Li
I found another article 275894. Microsoft had a fix to change "deleted" to "auto-forwarded". So is it possible to change "deleted" to "moved"? Thanks.
