CDOEx and a non-latin encoding - a simpler question
Guys, I posted a question
a couple days ago about my problem with "foreign" charsets, but it seems
that no one in the group knows what went wrong in my case. Could anyone
please answer a wider question then:

Did you ever correctly decode a CDO message stream with a non-latin
8-bit character set? (Cyrillic and Greek codepages primarily; I have
not yet even took on DBCS characters).

Please bear with me -- I have to assume either a bug or my own blooper,
and it would be extremely helpful to know that the API correctly works
under some conditions. You see, I am extending the scope of possible
answers from "I do not know what's wrong with your code" to "I do not
know what's wrong there, but it works flawlessly for me." :))

I will be eternally grateful for any information! An alternative
solution is fine too. Currently, the only way out to me that I see is
to write my own MIME parser and handle charsets by myself, but you may
bet dearly that I want to avoid this work if possible!

PS. I have been a hacker for 20+ years, and I think I am able to take
half-a-hint to get going, please -- that does not have to be a detailed
walk-through at all! I am really desperate now, and if I had retained
any hair worth mentioning, I'd be pulling it off!!! :)
