Virus Scan API
Hi all

I am currently working with a small startup that has developed two pieces of
software. One scans the file system on a PC looking for inappropriate images
and if it finds them reports on them thus allowing managers to track who may
be sending and recieving images that are not appropriate for the workplace. I
have been tasked with writing a plug in Exchange 2000/2003 that will allow
attachments to be scanned using their software.

Having spent a few days surfing the web I have come to the conclusion that
using the VS API 2.5 would be the most appropriate. However I am unable to
really find any in depth discussion of this API relating to Exchange
2000/2003 such as examples of how to use the API, where I can download
documentation, and where I can get the API.

Do any of you fine people have any urls you can share with me that can help
point the way?

Re: Virus Scan API
You need to contact MS Developer Support to get detailed documentation on
Exchange VSAPI.
When you call them at (800) 936-5800, make sure you let them know you need
info on VSAPI and they won't try to bill you. :-)

See See http://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?Gprid=1773 for more
info on support services or to check on other phone numbers.

Re: Virus Scan API
I have contacted ms dev support as well as msdn and they've been pointing me
in circle. Is there any other options to get VSAPI 2.5 for exchange?
