RPC Averaged Latency/Sec counter help..
Hello,

We're attempting to trouble shoot some performance issues with an Exchange
2000 server... One counter in particular we've noticed outside of
recommended thresholds is the "RPC Average Latency/Sec" counter...
According to the Exchange performance guide, this counter should remain
between 10-20.... We are seeing values in the 300 range during certain
times of the day...

Where should I start looking to diagnose the problem?? I'm assuming this
may be a network type issue??? Our server has a 1GB Nic to the backbone,
but is currently configured for Auto negotiation... Could that be part of
the problem??

Server is: Win2k w/SP4
Exchange 2k3 w/SP3
Dual Xeon 1.5Ghz Processors
3 GB of RAM
~ 800 User mailboxes

Thanks,
Troy
