Very strange mail problem!!
Hi All,
Up until approx. 5 days ago everything was working fine. I'm running
Exchange 2000 on Windows 2000, both products have the latest security
updates. The Exchange server is located in the parent domain. I have two
child domains. Outlook mail and webmail for users in the parent and child1
domain is working fine. Users in child2 domain can not get in to their mail
via Outlook or webmail, it just hangs. I've had them ping the mail server and
it resolved fine. They can see shares on the Exchange server and all other
servers. They can run other programs located in the parent domain (ie as400),
just not email. My user id is in the parent domain. When I RDP to a machine
in child2 and try my webmail, it does the same thing!! I've checked for event
viewer errors on the chance that replication isn't working properly but
everything seems fine. Nothing changed 5 days ago. I'm totally stumped on
this one. I've tested every scenerio I can think of with no luck..... Any
thoughts on this would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks so much!
  Candie
