smtp connector between exchange 2k and exchange 2k3
Hello there!!!,
Plz be patient when u read this:
I have this scenario:
Old domain:
2 AD 2000 servers worked as cluster, and 2 EX 2000 also worked as cluster.
What we want to make, new domain and new exchange,
Temporary:
1 AD 2k3 and 1 EX 2k3.
We want to migrate a group of users from the old domain to the new domain
and test the domain.
My problem is when I moved some users to the new domain, and the users in
old domain is disabled, then and trying to send them e-mails from the old
domain, but the
“Undeliverable:test after moving the user”
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: test after moving the user
Sent: 13/06/2006 05:52 م
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
Test1 on 13/06/2006 05:52 م
The message reached the recipient's e-mail system, but delivery
was refused. Attempt to resend the message. If it still fails, contact your
system administrator.
So, what I need to do is:
If I send emails from the users in old domain to users in old domain. Or
from users in old domain to whatever, I want to receive them as usually.
If I send emails from the users in old domain to the users in new domain, I
want to receive them.
i.e. test1@mydomain.com is in the old domain and the email address is
test1@mydomain1.com is email alias for mydomain. suppose that I migrate this
account to my new domain, and my new domain is called mydomain1.com and the
email address is test1@mydomain1.com .
So, when I send email from test2 from old domain, to test1 in the new
domain, sure I will not receive it.
How to solve this? Some told me to make an SMTP connector!!!
So, how can I solve this problem?
Plz advice…
