Mail Connector Question
I have 2 exchange 2000 servers, server A and server A. Server A, configured
with ip 192.168.0.13, is my main server and sends mails through a relayhost.
Server B, configured with ip 192.168.1.10, is at a different location and
the 2 offices are connected by 2 routers. They both can see and are
replicating.
I want to have all mails originating from Server B to use Server A as a
smarthost. I configured Server B to use Server A as a smarthost by adding
exchange.domain.com in the default smtp delivery option. However, this is
not working. Some of the mails originating from Server B are still going
through the DSL line. Can anyone help me through this? Thanks.

Re: Mail Connector Question
Mohammed

Don't use Smarthost. Create an SMTP Connector and identify Server A as the
bridgehead server.
