HELLO All, I have following queries.PLEASE HELP ME TO SORTOUT IT 1) how we can able to add email user alias? Explanation:- I have one user xyz@company.com i am intrested to add alias jobs@company.com to user xyz. So mail sent to jobs@company.com cames to xyz@company.com mail box. I am not intrested in creating mailbox for jobs@company.com. I just wants to add alias to xyz account. 2)How i can create catchall account for company.com. If catchall account must be abc@company.com 3)How i can able to add internal mail forwarder. Means- how i am able to forward mails form abc@company.com to xyz@company.com 4)How i can able to take backup of single user under any mailbox? 5) How i can able to restore the backup of single user. If i have backup of full mailbox under which user is created. 6) How i can configure my exchange server for two domains mailing. New SMTP virtual server is require for new domain? 7)If i have two domains on server. Like company.com and company.info Then how i can able to create abc@company.com and abc@company.info account under it. Please note that abc@company.com and abc@company.info both are different users. How we can create different mailboxes for them. 8) How we can able to change the display name of user using OWA. Name in "form field". If you have solutions on above queries please help me . Also provide me steps to sortout it.
1. use Active Directory Users & Computers (ADUC) to modify the Email Addresses of the user xyz 2. a) you can't without 3rd party software b) you don't want to because it will get filled with spam faster than you can sneeze 3. use Active Directory Users & Computers to set an Alternate Recipient on abc to forward to xyz 4. use the Exmerge tool from the Exchange downloads page 5. use the Exmerge tool from the Exchange downloads page 6. No new SMTP Virtual Server is required. a) first create a recipient policy that has the new domain as one of the SMTP addresses. b) add the new address to users, or create new users with the new address 7.
