Emailing to particular domian...
Environment:
single Exchange 2000 sp3 server
not using smarthost for external mail delivery(straight delivery)
Using relay server for incoming mail
OK!

I have an interesting problem, that I'm not sure what to do with.
I'm trying to send emails to a particular domain, but I keep getting
delivery delayed mails sometime later.

I run an smtpdiag from my workstation and everything runs through fine.
I run it from the Exchange server and I get this:

"Connecting to the server failed. Error: 10060
Failed to submit mail to mail.<domain>.com."

Telneting, from the exchange server, to port 25 of that address gave me
the same result.

Question 1: Why would telneting and running smtpdiag work fine from my
workstation, but not from my exchange server?

Question 2: How do I fix this?

Thanks,
Blair
