Hi, I don't know if I am writing in the right newsgroup but les't go : One of my customers installed Exchange 2003 and all his messages generally go to the SMTP smart host. (Normal) He installed a FAX gateway on his exchange and the messages coming from his Outlook clients with the addressing "[FAX:+1999999999]" should be routed to the fax gateway : it is generally working as I explained on other Echange 2000/2003 systems with my other customers. In his case all the messages addressed to [FAX:...] go directly to the smart host ! We tried to Message Tracking and the only thing we can see is that the message goes to the smart host. I think it is some kind of settings he activated but I am not an Exchange 2003 guru. Any idea ? Thanks Daniel
Hi, This is probably caused by the fact that you configured the smarthost on the SMTP virtuel server. Create a SMTP connector and configure the smart-host setting here instead and it should work.
