Exchange Unresponsive
Hi All,
I have two exchange clusters setup with four stores configured on four
compaq servers with fibre attach storage. The total combined size of the
stores is about 400GB.
This system has been running smoothly for the past 3 years without any
problems except for the past 4 months that the primary nodes of both
clusters have been taking turns becoming unresponsive almost every 2 weeks.
For the past 2wks its become a daily occurrence where the primary node of
cluster1 becomes unresponsive. Most of the time a failover is not initiated
since the primary nodes still shows as online. If we force failover the
second node takes over and works for 1 or 2 days and the same thing happens
again.
Rebooting all the clusters and the storage doesnt make it any better. The
worst of it all is that the system does not generate any error logs, not in
the event viewer nor the cluster logs.
I have generated a lot of log info and sent to microsoft who is still
investigating but now I need help from anyone who has come across this issue
before for a possible solution.
Thanks
