RUS need to be moved?
Hello,
I've just completed my W2K3 + E2K3 cluster and am
getting ready for a full move of my user mailboxes.
Everything looks good as my current server is still up
and running and my "beta" group hasn't reported any
issues. My question is whether or not I need to move the
RUS from my existing server to my new cluster. The "old"
server will remain in service even after the migration in
order to run our rather extensive newsgroup
infrastructure (I can't believe Exchange clusters can't
run newsgroups ;-(... but I'm not sure what to do with
the RUS.
Thanks,
Dan

Re: RUS need to be moved?
Hi,

That is up to you. If the "old" server is going to be in service I would
just leave the RUS there but you could move it to the cluster if you prefer
to have it there.

Re: RUS need to be moved?
Yep, just always make sure that they are owned by a good server and pointed
to a valid DC.
