OWA users running windows nt 4.0 Internet Explorer 5.5 sp2 are unable to use the empty the deleted items folder function. An error message is generated: "An error occurred while trying to empty the deleted items folder." They are able to go to the deleted items folder and select individual messages and permanately delete messages. Trying to find a patch or work around to allow user to empty their deleted items folder using OWA. Regards!
