Active sync
Hope some one can help

I have exchange 2003 SP2 I have fully checked all check boxes on the
Mobile messaging page
I have set the default web page to use a certificate from my own cert
authority and have oppenned port 443 on my firewall

It originally asked me to install a certificate but I have got round
that by installing a reg editor and adding secure Dword value set to 0
to the active sync server reg key this disabled the certificate
checking

when syncing with my exchange server from my Qutec v1240 I get the
following error message

the server you are trying to syncronise with is not an exchange server
or is running incompatable software, choose configure server on the
active sync menu to configure the correct server

Support code: 8503022

we also have a company web site and sharepoint but none of these use
443

any ideas happliy recieved

thanks
