Microsoft Outlook XP issue   

Hi

I am using Microsoft Outlook XP . In my transport provider code, i
return Mapi Error MAPI_E_NETWORK ERROR when the network failure occurs
while sending a message. This works fine with all the versions of
outlook except Outlook XP. In Outlook XP , the message, instead of
staying in Outbox, generates an NDR.

Could anyone suggest the alternative way to handle this?

What e-mail accounts do you have in your mail profile? Does this happen if 
you have only the Exchange server in there (no POP/IMAP etc) ?
