Unable to display public folder from Outlook.
Hi All,

We have recently migrated our 2 x Exchange 2K servers running on W2K to
Exchange 2003 SP2 (1 x Enterprise & 1 x Standard) running on W2003 SP1. All
went well with the installation and moving of the mailboxes including
replication of the public folders went without errors, the problem is that
when we turn off the public store on the Enterprise Exchange to prepare it
for decommissioning all Outlook clients report the following error:

"Unable to display folder Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the
specified folder location. Could not open item Try again."

No problem with connecting to the new Standard Exchange 2003 public folders
and the old 2k server has been decommissioned for a week without errors. I
have checked all permissions and the public folders replication and all are
in sync. When checking the logons all mailbox users logon onto the New
Enterprise Exchange 2003 but all users log onto the old Exchange server when
accessing the public folders.

Any help would be great relief as TechNet has not shed any light on the
problem.
