Hi, Is there a way to limit what PC's a user can log on to while they are in the office on the LAN, but not take away their ability to use OWA while away from the office ? If I limit the Logon Workstations in the account tab of the user in AD, the user cannot access OWA since the computer is not listed there. If I change the Logon Workstations to "All computers", OWA works but then the user can log on to any PC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Not sure I understand, can you clarify? You want to restrict John Doe from connecting to OWA on certain workstations within the LAN but he can access OWA from any computer in the world outside the org? Why? He will use Outllook while on the Lan, but OWA while outside the office. While in the office we want him to only be able to logon to certain workstations. It is an SBS 2000 network. I hope this helps. Thanks for the reply. I do this at one clients office, You only give them access to "their workstation" name and the server that owa is located. Example Computer Name OWA - Where OWA is the name of the Server that exchange is on JDoe01 - Workstation that John Doe always logs in This way he can't walk over to Jane's computer and logon as JDoe but he can access OWA from a browser anywhere "Ray Brown" wrote: > Hi, > > Is there a way to limit what PC's a user can log on to while they are in the > office on the LAN, but not take away their ability to use OWA while away from > the office ?
