Magically re-appearing items
Hello,

We have a strange problem here, in our Exchange 2000 enviroment.

A few of our users manage the calendar for some executives. Now, there
are a few appointments that we can't seem to be able to either edit or
delete. Strange thing is, when we modify the item in Outlook 2003
Calendar, nothing happens. Now, if we open OWA, the item is modified or
gone (depending on the action we took).
Going back to Outlook, the item is still there. We've tried the usual
/cleanview and other option, to no avail. We even tried installing a
new computer, created a new user profile, but still no success.

However, we did find a way to delete the items. In Outlook, we go to
search, and search for the item in question. If I select the item there
and delete is it is gone forever. This is however not acceptable for
our users.

Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong? And if yes, does anyone
have a solution for us?

regards,
Jaap de Koning

Re: Magically re-appearing items
It seemed some of the items in our information store got corrupted - we
removed them using the MDBVU32 utility and all seems well now.
