OWA Mailbox migration issue
I have just installed a 2000 exchange server into my organization which had
only one Exchange 5.5 server. I have replicated the public folders and moved
a couple of mailboxes over. The moved mailboxes work fine with the Outlook
client however when I attempt to access the 5.5 Exchange OWA server I do not
get redirected to the moved mailbox on the Exchange 2003 server. Instead I
receive the following error...
OWA was unable to get to your inbox.
OWA on the new 2003 server works for the moved mailboxes and OWA 5.5 works
for any mailboxes that havn't moved.
How do I get the 5.5 exchang server to automatically redirect to the new
exchange server if the mailbox has moved over to the new server? I know in
the past this has worked as long as the access is internal and using the
internal DNS server off of the domain.
Anyone know wha the issue with OWA is in a mixed environment. The more I
look into the issue on the net the more confused I get. BTW... This
configuration is not useing a Front End/Back End server just one exchange 5.5
server and one exchange 2000 server in the same org, same subnet, same domain.
