Error in Outlook 2003 Clients   

I have a number of Outlook 2003 Clients that frequently get a pop up bubble 
saying "Trying to retrieve data from the microsoft exchange server".  the 
server it is trying to access is at another site and not the server that 
they're mailboxes are hosted on.  I do have a global catalog server at my 
site and if I check what GC the clients are looking at it seems to be correct.
