Outlook Today - "MAILBOX"
We are using Exchange 2000 with Outlook XP. We have a custom
application that reads emails from 8 different outlook profiles and
accounts. This application follows the tree down to each individual
folder i.e. it is looking for the exactr strings af far as profiles and
folders etc are concerned. Today, 5 of the 8 mailboxes no longer have
the word 'MAILBOX' next to them next to 'Outlook Today' in the folder
list, e.g. "Outlook Today - Mailbox [Account One]" now shows as "Outlook
Today [Account One]" and the script no longer functions correctly as a
result.

As far as I can tell there have been no changes to any of the accounts,
I have recreated the Outlook profiles and used 2 different machines,
they all have the same results, it is connecting to the Exchange server
correctly (i.e. it's not looking at a local PST file). I believe
Outlook should be adding 'Mailbox' to any legitimate Exchange mail
account automatically. Any clues as to why this may happen and how to
revert this back?

TIA, Paul.
