Hi I've setup a new W2k AD domain with Exc2k, all very basic. Have 2 clients running XP and 2000Pro with Office XP. When I create new users on exchange and try to login to their mailboxes, outlokk keeps on prompting me for a username and password. When i look at permissions I see that all other perms are there and that 'SELF' do have full mailbox rights (default). This is happening for all users created on the exchange server. When I give admin full rights on the user mailbox he can open it. I've even rebuilt my whole domain and exchange site from scratch. I know this is gonna be something very stupid that I'm missing. Thanx in advance for the help.
Was Permission and SP issue. with installation.
I'm having the same problem, except my user was messing with outlook profile and I could not access their mailbox, kept telling me I did not have permission. MS said to change permissions using adis?? I changed her network password and she was able to open her mailox but it keeps asking for the password, why won't outlook remember the password "JohnSmith" wrote in message news:1118313428.303782.7050@o13g2000cwo.googlegroups.com... > Hi > I've setup a new W2k AD domain with Exc2k, all very basic.
