I am trying to set up the SDK Sample Events using the EventSampleVB.exe and get the following error Error opening connection: -2146105340 Method '~' of object '~' failed. This program must be run on an Exchange Server. I created the COM+ component as directed, the sampleuser account and a folder called test in the public folders and ran EventSampleVB.exe on the server with Exchange 2003 installed using the following url file://./backofficestorage/CET2.local/public folders/test Can anyone help Mike
