recover mailbox for deleted user
Hi,

A user was deleted from active directory, but the mailbox is still intact
according to Exchange System Manager.

Is it possible to recover the emails in this mailbox by creating a new user?
Or is there any other possibility?

Thanks in advance,
ED

Re: recover mailbox for deleted user
Hi,

You can create a new user account without a mailbox and then connect the
mailbox to this new user.

Thanks for the fast reply.

How do you connect the mailbox to the new user?

Thanks,

Re: recover mailbox for deleted user
right-click the mailbox, and select "reconnect"...then specify the desired
AD account...
