upgrading Exchange 2000 standard to 2000 Enterprise
I am planning to do this upgrade soon and was wondering if there are any
gotchas I should be prepared for. I hope to be able to just install
enterprise on top of the standard, reinstall the latest service pack,
and be done with it.

2000?
Short answer is yes, pretty much.
Long answer goes into tirades about support blah blah. Remember that
if you have a problem you will have to roll the entire box back to
exactly how it was and calling Microsoft for support is not an option.
Make real sure you have a backup and you know that you can get it all
back to the state it was in before you started.
