Profile migration from one Exchange 2003 to another Exchange 2003 Organization
Hi,
We are migrating mailboxes from one Exchange 2003 to another Exchange 2003
in a different organization/active directory.
All the username, alias and email addresses are same in both the servers. Is
there any we we can update the outlook client profile settings to the new
server automatically from server side?

For Example:
our old server is mailold and the new one is mailnew
Is there any way we can change the profile settings to mailnew automatically
from server side?

Thanks in advance.
Tom

It won't work automatically if they're in entirely different forests/AD
domains/organizations - look into the Office Resource Kit for profile
generation tools, or third party stuff like Outlook Profiler. You'll need to
create new profiles for the users, not re-use the old ones, AFAIK.

Note that you've posted in an old legacy E2k group which gets hardly any
traffic. All Exchange questions are best posted in m.p.exchange.* for future
reference....
