Removing a (dead) Exchange server from the Exchange domain
We're really struggling with finding online resources for finding how
to remove a server from the Exchange domain when the server itself
can't be bought back online into the domain.

We had a couple of Exchange servers in a remote office location, and
whilst the WAN was up and running, all the servers in all three sites
were merrily working with each other. We lost the lease on one of the
buildings and had to kill the network quite quickly, so we didn't have
time to gracefully remove Exchange from the server, therefore pulling
it out of the Exchange domain.

Now we have an Exchange domain with a couple of servers in that no
other server can contact.

All of the postings on the internet, MSDN and other sites explain how
to remove the first, or last server in an Exchange domain, but there's
nothing that I can find about removing a server that's inaccessible.

Would the ADSIEdit tool be the only way forward?
