This may be a silly question to most of you though I am just a webmaster/graphic designer... :) I am the only remotely IT person here and my boss wants me to create a new email address on our exchange server xxxx@ourdomain.com and then have it forwarded to him. How do I do that? I have a vague idea but it has been so long since I did it I need a refresher. Thanks!
do you mean a new domain, or just another smtp address at your same domain? if just an additional address, just open his AD account, go to "email addresses", and add the new smtp address...no forwarding necessary... -- Susan Conkey [MVP] wrote in message news:375b5a3e-f3a9-4214-9ae2-c452b68a22b2@e25g2000prg.googlegroups.com... > This may be a silly question to most of you though I am just a > webmaster/graphic designer... :) I am the only remotely IT person > here and my boss wants me to create a new email address on our > exchange server xxxx@ourdomain.com and then have it forwarded to him. > How do I do that? In addition to Susan's reply, it sounds like your company should probably get a consultant in to manage your IT. Exchange is a pretty complex beast to run without any expert "looking after"
