How to setup a SPF record
We are starting to get a lot of spam that appears to be from ourselves
(i.e. to: joe@mydomain.com FROM: joe@mydomain.com) and as a result it is
getting through our spam filters.

I want to set up a SPF record in DNS but not sure exactly what to do. We
host our own Exchange server, but have an ISP that is authoritative for
our DNS zone records. Do I need the ISP to add the record or do I add it
on our local DNS server or both?

I talked briefly to someone at our ISP but they knew less about SPF
records than I did which did not give me alot of confidence in getting
this set up correctly.

Thanks

Try this wizard to see what it should look like, then get your ISP to add it
as a TXT record to your DNS:
