Hi, I haver a question on restricting deletion of e-mails. The scenario is like this. There is a common mailbox shared among a couple of users who are given full mailbox access. The issue is that whoever got access to it they are able to delete it, I want to restrict it, I have tried removing full mailbox access and giving permissions using outlook, it works but was not able to send mails (send as was given) and also found that they are not able to process the rules manually, (the mailbox is added as a secondary mailbox), is there a way to give full mailbox access and restricting deletion of mails? Regards, Abhi
if someone has full mailbox owner permissions, there is no way I know of to keep them from deleting items...all you could do would be to journal the email...what version of Exchange? here's a link to the whitepaper on journaling... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/843494/en-us -- Susan Conkey [MVP] "Abhi" wrote in message news:19DEF39C-522A-40FA-9E2F-68A5C37B42D1@microsoft.com... > Hi, > I haver a question on restricting deletion of e-mails.
