I think I know the answer to this but I'm hoping for miracles. I have a successful backup from two nights ago and then one night ago I start getting 478 errors on my .stm file (mismatch consistency check). Problem is I got partial backups twice since then where a few transactions logs were deleted. So, I assume, if I try to restore from the successful full backup from 2 nights ago, I will be have a gap in my logs from the 4 log files that were deleted from the partial backups and thus can't roll the logs forward to the present time. I've looked for the logs in the Recycle Bin etc but they are gone gone. Am I screwed? If so, any suggestions on getting out of this bind? Specs: Exchange 2003 SP2 One Store\Storage Group. Windows 2000 SP4
Hi, You can't restore to present time if you are missing logfiles.
