Hi all, My setup: Win2k Std member server with SP4 and updates, Exchange 2k with SP3. My problem: installing the SP3 Rollup causes exchange not to work. I get the following error: Source: MSExchangeMU EventID: 1002 Description: Metabase Update agent failed to start. Error code 8007000d (the data is invalid). Uninstalling the rollup returns exchange to a running state. The error refers to IIS. So I re-installed IIS and exchange as per KB320202. The result was not different - the rollup crashes exchange. I then removed (including files) and installed IIS, applied Win2k SP4 and updates, and re-installed exchange. These were done per KB325889 and KB320202. Still get the same results. So I don't know what to try next. I plan to migrate to Exchange 2k7 and the rollup is a prerequisite for this. Any ideas? Thanks.
