corrupt adobe files   

We are  having an issue where some adobe files that are emailed in comming up 
with the error
"There was an error opening up this document.  The file is damanged and 
could not be repaired"
I applied the hotfix as suggest by MS KB 937625 but it is still occuring.  
It only happens when internal devices send email directly through our emial 
server and not to emails sent from the out side which come through our front 
end server.

Any suggestions
