Re: Upgrade to Exchange2003
Ok, that makes little sense. You said it wasn't going to be the
mailbox server and now you just said it is.
You will need to put 2003 on the box.
What do you mean by saying it's the mailbox server for mobile users
and not OWA users? Unless you have Thousands of users you would direct
the ActiveSync, POP3, OWA, OMA, IMAP and RPC/HTTPS users to the same
box and have all the mailboxes on the back end box.
We need to discuss your ideas a little deeper.

Re: Upgrade to Exchange2003
I want to install an Exchange2003 and have it published for Active Sync by
using ISA.
The OWA FrontEnd has been installed with an local agent for authentication
with RSA and I am not willing
to move that for the moment. I would like to set up the first Exchange2003
without changing the configuration
of my Front-End which is installed with Exchange2000.
My idea is to demote the E2K FE shortly while doing my first E2K3
installation. By doing that I could bypass
the section of the installation where I am prevented to fullfill my E2K3
installation that due to the fact I have an E2K FE.
Is that possinble?
