Can I delete all Mail from the Mailbox, but want to keep all settings
I have some resource accounts that have lots of mail in them and I want to
remove all the mail. Can I delete just the mail and keep the mailbox and all
of its settings?

Thanks,
 Scott<-

Re: Can I delete all Mail from the Mailbox, but want to keep all settings
sure...use exmerge, in "archive" mode...it will yank everything out of the
mailboxes, and send it to a pst file which you can do with as you please...

Re: Can I delete all Mail from the Mailbox, but want to keep all settings
Perfect Thanks

I also tried to use it to Archive some old Employees. Though it seemed to
fail on those accounts. If the AD Account is Disabled, I take it the
Mailbox it off limits too?

Thanks again!

Re: Can I delete all Mail from the Mailbox, but want to keep all settings
yes, but if you grant the "SELF" account the "external associated account"
permission, then you can run exmerge against the mailbox, I believe...

Re: Can I delete all Mail from the Mailbox, but want to keep all settings
So it yanked it out, though it did a Copy, not a Move. Did I do something
wrong? I want to empty the mailbox from the server, though want to keep the
mailbox intact.

Turns out a autoaccept script is running on a resource account and is
getting a non-deliverable and then trying to process all the
non-deliverables. So far its up to 1.5 million items in its mailbox

Re: Can I delete all Mail from the Mailbox, but want to keep all settings
then you didn't select "archive to target" on the Options | Import Procedure
tab...
