Hello,
I have Exchange 2000 and Windows 2000 server.

I just want to know is there a way to restore mailboxes and public folders
from .EDB files or any other files?

any help would be highly appreciated

Re: EDB Files
Unfortunately the newsgroups are staffed by volunteers who generally
have other jobs. If you need something that urgently you probably are
going to have to pay for support from MS or hire a consultant. You
have posted numerous questions that all seem to say your Exchange
server has been down for 2 days now due to user error (user disjoined
the domain). I would probably own up to the error and pay for MS
support myself if my company did not want to pay the bill. Otherwise,
I would probably be looking for a new job on Monday.

Re: EDB Files
Well you've got some options:
Read the document on how to do the task you want to do
Skip through the document and not do the task properly
Pay someone to resolve your problem

Stop all Exchange services and set them all to manual. Restore your AD to
the night before you made the change. Restart the Exchange server. Set all
services to automatic and start them.

Re: EDB Files
this is not something you want to do "faster"...you need to read the
documentation, or you could make things worse for yourself...I wouldn't
recommend attempting this type of recovery without a thorough understanding
of the entire process...
