Hello, I have a a server with Win 2000 serve, exchange 2000 joined to our domain as member server. For a reason i disjoined this server from the domain, and then I rejoined it again. Now all the services that are related to MS exchange are running. does anyone have any solution? If I want to re-install Exchange, is there a way to keep all the data and mailboxes? regards
You mean the services are not running?

Go to Active Directory Computer and Users, probably in the Computers folder (or wherever you put you Exchange servers), double click on your Exchange server, click on the Member Of tab, click Add, type "Exchange Domain Servers", click check name (it should then be underlined), hit Apply and OK. At that point you should try starting the Exchange services. You may have to wait a a few minutes for AD to replicate, or use Sites and Services to force replication and then try starting the services again.
