Hi folks.. When I add a new users in active directory three addresses should be automatically added. Primary SMTP address.secondary SMTP address, and X.400 address. But last few weeks that three address did not automatically added. I have to manually enter secondary SMTP and X.400 address. In my recepient policy i clearly specified the three address types.. Nowadays i did not add X.400 address. It leads any problem and someone tell me the use of X.400 address? what is the problem? can any one suggest to solve this issue? Thanks in Advance
Sounds like you have a problem with RUS Check that RUS is pointing to a valid Exchange server and Domain Controller. Here is a KB that gives you some troubleshooting steps: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=822794 -- Mark Fugatt Microsoft Limited This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. How long did you wait before checking to see whether the e-mail addresses were added? Are you sure the user/mailbox has "automatically update based on recipient policy" checked?
Yes. I am sure. Three weeks before it works fine(it automatically update the recepient address). now it is not working.
