Error after removing an Exchange 2000 server
Hello,

I hope someone can help me out here:

After uninstalling/removing an Exchange 2000 server
from a site where there are 2 other Exchange servers. One
Exchange 2000 and one Exchange 2003 server i get some log entrys
on my Exchange 2003 box - like this one:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeIS Public Store
Event Category: IS/AD Interactions
Event ID: 7037
Date:  02-04-2006
Time:  11:39:25
User:  N/A
Computer: MAILSRV3
There are no replicas for the public folder /O=LINAK/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE
GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=OWASCRATCHPAD_A9477123-E9C372E46C94CEC739C3104DE86378BF9F8001779
in any connected sites.

I get this error on the following public system folders :

- OWAScratchPad{A9477123-E9C6-4027-BA88-26FBAAB10048}
- StoreEvents{A9477123-E9C6-4027-BA88-26FBAAB10048}

Can they be ignored because the other 2 servers have thoose
public folders (with different names) ?.
And why does i only get this error on my Exchange 2003 server.
The remaning Exchange 2000 server is my First Exchange server.

TIA,

Jan -

Re: Error after removing an Exchange 2000 server
check to see if you have replication enabled for the public folders and if
any of the replicas are pointing to the server that is dead. you may want to
enable diagnostic logging for the public folders and check the event logs
for more details.
