Exchange 2007 deployment
I took a job with a company that was in the middle of a 2007 exchange upgrade
(transition). The current Exchange box is a 2000 server with SP4, oh, and 60
MB of hard disk space available.
You might say i am in the middle of a crunch right now. The exisitng
exchange server was a DC. They currently have a 2003 server that is now the
PDC, and AD machine.
Basically when i run the "Setup.com /prepareschema" i get that the current
exchange server does not meet the requirements and that it needs to be 2003
before i can continue. Well, that is not possible. The 2K7 server is up and
running.
What steps do i need to do to get the new exchange server up and running
before the 2000 server dies on me? (I see that happening fairly soon). Please
help???
