Hello... Wel i gotta prb with my Server 2k3... the prb is tht my ADC coulnt able to replicate the AD frm pdc. when i ping in my PDC its showing as destination host unreachable so i tried to change my NIC card n replaced it n re installed the drivers for my NIC n checked even that was the same.. So i disconected my PDC n ADC frm the network.. n joined both together even then i couldnt able to ping.. my PDC or router... i changed the CABLE n tried but invain..Even the server is too slow that i coudnt be able to initiate my server to take backup... then in worse case i started to copy the data to my External HDD.... the only option i have is to repair the OS i think... repairing the OS will make hell i think i need to reinstall everything like ES, my AD..everything needs to be re configured... which will make no sense.. so please suggest some thing ... My WORK ENVIRONMENT is 1 PDC, 1 ADC, both are IBM Servers but OLDEST one's IBM netfinity 3500 series servers... the pathetic scene is My ADC had my Exchange server so now my Exchange is down wat to do.. please suggest me some thing Thanks And regards Kalyan Kumar.K
Hi, Have you made sure that the router is working (you can connect the 2 servers with a cross-over cable and try to ping)?? The problem is with my ISA server.. the policies weren't set properly so the total server is down cozz of that.... i removed my ISA server and now its pretty working n now i've to install ISA n set the proper policies Thanks and Regards Kalyan Kumar.K System admin
