Hi I have Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition and Exchange 2003 and we were having Windows 2000 (Domain Controller and Citrix was installed and AD was mainintened on it) after crash of Windows 2000 Domain Controller Server I am not able to create any new user on Exchange Server. I get message at the very end wehn I click on Finish "An error occured. Contact your System Administrator". We have bought new server but haven't setup yet as we are planning to get Citrix installed on it. Can you please guide me (step by step) how can I reslove this problem. I want to be able to creat users on Exchange Server. I am quiet new on Networking. (Actually there were 3 servers all Windows 2000 and changed 2 servers to Windows 2003 (Data) Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 (Mail) and the 3rd server was Windows 2000 Citrix which was about to change to Windows 2003 and before we upgrade it, it got crashed) Your help is greatly appreciated. Mukesh
Hi, Sounds af is the recipient update service is still pointing to the crashed server. This should help: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;288807 Leif wrote in message news:1148409079.486548.153060@i39g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... > Hi I have Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition and Exchange 2003 and we > were having Windows 2000 (Domain Controller and Citrix was installed > and AD was mainintened on it) after crash of Windows 2000 Domain > Controller Server I am not able to create any new user on Exchange > Server. Thanks Leif. But we alreday have changed Recipient Update Service to our Data Server which is W2003.
Hi, Then you will need to troubleshoot the recipient update service using the link I provided. Leif wrote in message news:1148476110.113535.134760@j33g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... > Thanks Leif. But we alreday have changed Recipient Update Service to > our Data Server which is W2003. >
Hi Leif, I did troubleshoot but no success. Do you think I need to call Microsoft for Help? Thanks, Mukesh
Hi, If you enabled diagnostics logging as described in the article and this doesn't tell you anything (and you don't like to post the complete events) you will have to call Microsoft PSS to have this case resolved.
