Exchange in root and child domain outlook users issue
Our exchange 2003 server is in our root domain and we migrated all of our
users and workstation to a child domain. The issue we are having since the
migration is that if you create a user account in the child domain then
attempt to setup Outlook the client can't seem to connect to the server.

But if (and this has become our practice now) we migrate the user to the
root domain we can setup Outlook with no problems. Then we move them back to
the child domain and Outlook works like a charm.

Has anyone seen this kind of behavior before? What should I do to resolve
this annoying issue.

I'm not sure if this is an Exchange 2003 problem or an AD specifit issue.

Thanks
