I currently have Exchange 2000 SP3 Running on Windows Server 2000. Everything has been working fine. I just installed Instant Messenging on the Exchange server and it told me that I need to reinstall the service pack. I just checked everything and everything seems to be working fine. Should I still reinstall the service pack? Should I also reinstall rollup patches and patches? Also, does MSN Messenger 7.0 work with Exchange 2000 Instant Messenging? Or do I need a different IM client? Thanks, Sam
If you install code from the original CDs then it is recommended to reinstall the Service Packs yes. MSN Messenger doesn't work with Exchange Instant messenger .. you will need Windows Messenger for that. Thanks for the help. I have one more question. I installed Windows Messenger 5.1 and I am able to login to the Exchange 2000 server, however everyone is unable to. I enabled their IM, but they just can not login. Thanks, Sam "Martin Tuip [MVP]" wrote: > If you install code from the original CDs then it is recommended to > reinstall the Service Packs yes. Do I also need to run SP3 Rollup Patch after I reinstall SP3.
