Hi, I'm in progress of upgrading my Windows 2000 domain to Windows 2003 and also upgrading Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003. Right now I have decommitted all my old Windows 2000 DCs and have 2 new Windows 2003 DCs holding the AD. The only thing I still have to do is to Raise Domain Functional Level to Windows 2003 Native. My question is now - will my Exchange 2000 server still be able to communicate with AD or should I upgrade my Exchange Servers to Exchange 2003 before I raise my domain level? I hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance. Best Regards Brian

Hi jude, Thank you for the link - I have read it and as I understand it Exchange 2000 can run in a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory as long as the Exchange 2000 Server is installed on a Windows 2000 Server. Hi Brian, That is exactly right. What I might suggest is to try this in a test environment before doing it in production, just in case there is problems that this article did not discuss. Let me know if you need any other assistance.
