We have periods in the users login name, which when you login through OWA works fine if it is a system that is on the local domain, but if a user that is in another domain tries to access OWA for our domain they cannot get in, even if they use name.name@domain.com What can we do about this? Please help, thanks!
first.last@domain.com works fine here what's the UPN suffix set to for the users? does it match the "domain.com" value they're using? is URLSCAN enabled and not set to an Exchange use model? if it's installed, it will generate a log file that makes it pretty clear if that is the problem. are you using forms based authentication? are there errors in the security event log (is logon failure auditing enabled)?
